Odd comment about the Minnesota State Seal in the TV trivia section...."The fictional city of Pawnee, Ind., has an official seal that bears a slight resemblance to Minnesota’s state seal."

If you would look at Indiana State Seal, there is a man chopping down a tree, and a Bison leaping to the left. I thought the humor was that the Pawnee, Indiana seal was tongue-in-cheek directed to Indiana by showing a "felled forest" and a "dead bison."

I don't see any Minnesota connection at all.... other than most state seals are round.

Note that this post originally said the series would debut tonight, April 2. I know believe that's wrong and the first show is next Thursday, April 9 (NBC is airing a full evening of ER programming tonight).

There is so much incompetence, corruption, and stupidity in local governent that I am sure there is enough material for years of shows. I look forward to this series.
