Welcome to the Bleak House of American democracy, lawyers profit and profit and profit; democracy is undermined by the idea that its results can be endlessly subjected to the slow grind of the legal system. Somebody show some sense!

Mr Coleman is not displaying "courage, resilience and fortitude" in his determination to play this game out to the point of absurdity, but his lack of consideration for Minnesota citizens. This disaster has gone on for long enough. Minnesota needs full representation in the US Senate at this time of social and fiscal crisis. Minnesota voters have defined who they want in the Senate. Mr Coleman may not agree with the voters, but he should withdraw his ego, capitulate and stop prolonging this futile attempt to keep his name in the public forefront. The people have actually spoken, Norm, give it up.

Excuse me, but Coleman can stop it at any time. Therefore, he IS behind it.

Incidentally, do the people of Minnesota WANT to be represented by a man who allows himself to be used as a pawn in this partisan political game?

Damn that Liberal Media - for not calling Coleman a sore loser!
:-)

Perhaps this is because everyone in the media knows Coleman is not behind the litigation. (He is simply a pawn in the game.) That it is, instead the RNC and the National Republican Senatorial Committee that are pushing this case as far as they can - so that the few remaining Republicans in the Senate can retain power and prevent change.
