Why should Michelle Bachmann take questions about cap and trade?
She has made her position very clear many times and it’s there for anyone to read if they have questions about where she stands on cap and trade:

“I believe the choice should rest with the individual on cap and trade and President Obama should never have the right to force any citizen to wear a cap – or any other type of hat – when they trade anything they consider to have value. Baseball cards, jacks, doilies, or any other collectible. It’s another example of the socialism that the Democrat Party is trying to force on us because they are fascists and like to wear caps so they think we should ALL have to wear caps. I personally prefer to NOT wear a cap. And I will fight for YOUR right to not wear a cap if you don’t want to too – errrr… also, I mean. As well. Either. Whatever… because it’s Marxist. And the United States is not Marxist – it’s Christian. And Obama is a muslin.”

Good summary of the print media coverage of yet another Republican staged event. Do Michele Bachmann and her fellow conservatives have an ounce of authenticity between them? I wonder what she will do next in order to try to look relevant.

I don’t know what the uproar is. It is kind of beneath her to entertain questions from peasants, I mean citizens. She represents economic royalty, and really should only answer questions from their representatives, Hannity, Beck, Lewis, et al.

I was recently at two such forums with Keith Ellison, one he organized and one where he was one panelist. Anyone who wanted to ask him something could. No speaker at either forum is getting money from some corporate special interest to spread nonsense.

Neither one got press coverage.
