President Obama is “bowing before the king of Saudi Arabia …. and then lying about it,” said U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann. ”It was shameful,” she told KSFO-AM in San Francisco on Thursday. “He was apologetic about our country.” Bachmann also warned that “we’re still finding out what happened during that G20 summit. I think that there may have been agreements made behind closed doors that we aren’t even aware of, that could be ceding American sovereignty.” Read excerpts of these and other topics and listen to audio after the jump.
Here is audio of Bachmann’s April 9 comments on KSFO-AM, from DumpBachmann:

Here are more transcribed excerpts.
On Obama’s “apologizing for America” in Europe and denying America is a Christian nation:
I thought it was shameful. I thought it was a very sad reflection and perhaps a true reflection about what our president feels about these issues. He was apologetic about our country. … To see the specter (sic) of our president apologizing for American activity, bowing before the king of Saudi Arabia — which to me was highly symbolic that he did that — and then now denying it, and then lying about it. And then also our president is saying to the world that we are not a Christian nation during Holy Week. Saying we are not a Christian nation, that we are merely citizens with shared values. That is not true. … Our founders said clearly that our Constitution was meant for a religious people .. They were not ashamed of their faith.
On Obama appointees who oppose American sovereignty:
Harold Koh, who’s being appointed now to the Department of State, who is a transnationalist, who does not believe in American sovereignty. He’s very scary. … If we love America and if we love American sovereignty, we don’t want these types in these positions. Because their goal is to give away our sovereignty — as we saw just last week at the G20. I think we’re still finding out what happened during that G20 summit. I think that there may have been agreements made behind closed doors that we aren’t even aware of, that could be ceding American sovereignty over currency valuations of the United States dollar. That would be very frightening.
On the first “openly avowed Muslim” in Congress, U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, acting as a “talent scout” to place Muslims in federal government jobs:
Our news media hasn’t put that message out.
(Bachmann must have missed this Minnesota Independent post.)

Apparently she hasn’t seen the photo of Bush kissing the Saudi Prince on the lips and walking around holding hands with him.

Michelle Bachman is a GIFT to the Democrats.
She – as well as Rush, Beck, O’Reilly, Hannity, Faux News, Palin, Jindahl, Boehner, Cantor, et. al.
just needs to keep talking and the Republicans will lose more and more House and Senate seats and ensure an Obama second term.
She would be impossible to parody – similar to Tina Fey repeating Sarah Palin’s Katie Couric interviews – word. for. word. on SNL…
There’s no reason to re-write what these idiots say – no need! What they say is funny enough as it is.
Comedy gold.
They might as well all show up at RNC events in a clown car.

I’ve seen the video and Obama leaned over, but it’s not at all clear what he’s doing. It’s the most awkward bow ever if it’s a bow. Nonetheless. it kind of looks like a bow, and the right is getting traction with it. Usually Obama and his staff are good at knocking the nonsense down so only the real nutjobs believe it, but he’s leaving this one out there without an explanation, and I don’t get why. Jon Stewart had a good comeback, that the same people claiming Obama will set up an ironfisted dictatorship that brooks no opposition is also meekly bowing to foreign kings. Obama should borrow that.

There’s video of his press sec’y denying it’s a bow.

The real irony is that as a self-professed Christian, Bachmann should be aware the Biblical message that only God is sovereign. When a nation proclaims sovereignty, it is considered idolatry by the Hebrew Prophets. Of course she might not be that familiar with the “Jewish” part of the Christian scriptures.

If the dark filters Rep. Bachmann uses to interpret Mr. Obama’s every move are always on, I’d hate to think what her interpretation of the Resurrection might be like.

Tsk, tsk. Bachmann, once again, showcases her rampant stupidity, and her fake outrage. I’m sure she’s just as outraged that the Bush Crime Family affectionately calls Prince Bandar, Bandar Bush. I’m sure she’s got her bloomers in a twist over the fact that it was the Royal House of Saud that bailed out Dubya on his failed oil adventures (in Texas of all places!). I bet Bachmann’s in a complete tizzy over the fact that the Carlyle Group was/is made up of the Royal House of Bush and the Royal House of Saud. It just eats her up that Dubya greeted Prince Abdullah with a kiss and a jaunt through the Crawford gardens, hand-in-hand. Her head probably exploded when Darth had to crawl and grovel to the Royal House of Saud’s last year, begging them to stem the price increases of oil. I can’t imagine her outrage when Dubya refused to ask the Royal House of Saud to investigate the backgrounds of the 18 Saudi nationals who were responsible for crashing two planes into the WTC, one into the Pentagon, and one in a field in PA.
And, I’d like Bachmann to show exactly where in the Constitution, it states that it is meant for religious people.
It takes an clear-headed, intelligent, and mature adult to admit mistakes – something Bachmann will never do. She hasn’t the clarity, intellect and maturity to do so. What a miserable and isolated life she leads as a result.
I normally feel sorry for the mentally challenged, but in this case, not so much.

So Barry did a bit of bowing and grovelling. At least he didn’t kiss the kings ring, or feet.
Hey, that’s something, right?
Did you get a load of the look on the Japanese Prime Ministers face? Hilarious!

Nobama is just a thin-skinned, weak pos. His service as a senator screwed up the state of Illinois. Now it’s just a matter of time he’ll ruin the country as a whole. To all you racist humans. My comment has nothing to do with race. I could care less what the color of a humans skin is.
I think it’s about time that the military understands it’s job is to protect the citisens of the U.S. not a corrupt government. Bring them home & let them clean up Washington.
