Illustrator Drew Friedman — who’s already given us George W. Bush as Heath Ledger’s Joker and Barack Obama as a rock star, plus a vision of Obama and John McCain as Spock and Captain Kirk — now turns his gaze to Minnesota. With the U.S. Senate race here still undecided nearly six months after election day, he imagines Al Franken and Norm Coleman still duking it out at the nursing home — in 2039.
