National Conference for Media Reform Coming to Minneapolis

Media A-listers will be ascending on the Twin Cities months before the GOP Convention for the National Conference for Media Reform. The conference, organized by the national media reform group Free Press, is slated to take place June 6-8 at the Minneapolis Convention Center and will focus on “media policy, grassroots activism, journalism, civil rights and new technology.”

Confirmed speakers include journalists Bill Moyers, Dan Rather, Arianna Huffington, Amy Goodman, and Katrina Vanden Heuvel as well as North Dakota Sen. Byron Dorgan and FCC Commissioners Michael Copps and Jonathan Adelstein.
