How did Minnesota’s members of Congress vote in 2007?

The National Journal has released its yearly vote ratings, which score key congressional votes on a continuum of liberal and conservative and assign a percentage to each member of Congress.
Virtually every returning member of Minnesota’s congressional delegation scored a bit more conservative in 2007 than they scored in 2006. Rep. Keith Ellison, representing the most progressive district in the state, was more liberal than 93 percent of the other members of the House of Representatives. Rep. John Kline beat out fellow conservative Rep. Michele Bachmann by a hair, with a rating that he was more conservative than 91 percent of his colleagues. Bachmann was more conservative than 89 percent of representatives.
The National Journal has come under some criticism this year that its methods are flawed and do not accurately reflect ideological tendencies of members of Congress.
The National Journal has compiled the ratings since 1981.
