The Democratic National Committee has a new Web ad urging Norm Coleman to concede as his fellow Republican Jim Tedisco did Friday in New York’s special congressional election. It’s the latest example of the Web-based razzing Dems are giving the former U.S. Senator since he appealed his re-election loss to the Minnesota Supreme Court last week.
Here’s the new video (via @polanimal):
Among the other Democratic Party high-tech highjinks:
• the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee’s online timeline showing how Coleman has “obstructed” the process
• the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party of Minnesota’s GiveItUpNorm.com Web site with added videos

Y’know, if the Democrats are really serious about this, they should push for a changes in Minnesota law to allow provisional certification for congressional seating while election contests are taking place.
“Razzing” Coleman for exercising his legal right to contest and appeal an historically close election does not speak well of Democrats’ respect for the law.
I am a Franken supporter, but I support full and fair adjudication of elections even more.
Save the “razzing” until after the MN SC rules, if Coleman doesn’t concede then.
