Still no swine flu in Minnesota

No need to panic yet. The Minnesota Department of Health has yet to identify any cases of swine flu in the state. MDH’s public health laboratory has so far tested 30 specimens from people who displayed symptoms associated with the virus, but all have come up negative. According to the agency, there are 50 to 60 additional specimens queued up for testing.

UPDATE: The state now has one suspected case and is awaiting confirmation from the Centers for Disease Control.
