Friday preacher feature: Pastors tied to McCain and Obama are all over YouTube

Who knew that pretenses to piety could cause so much collateral damage? Below, we offer video excerpts of the agit-prop that’s circulating with regard to loud-mouthed men of the cloth tied to John McCain and Barack Obama.

This clip from Talking Points Memo’s TPM TV highlights the anti-Catholic views of Rev. John Hagee, whose endorsement McCain expressly welcomed and subsequently has refused to reject. 

In this clip from last night’s Countdown, Keith Olbermann reviews the words of Rev. Rod Parsley, who has endorsed McCain and whom McCain has a called a “spiritual guide.” Parsley thinks America was founded partly to destroy Islam. Parsley is also an absolutely enthusiastic gay-basher.

Obama’s minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., is called out for his incendiary words about American racism (Wright believes AIDS was a deliberate racist plot) in clips from Fox’s O’Reilly Report.
