NYT: Will Klobuchar Support Obama or Clinton?
Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 1:06 pm
On Sunday, the New York Times interviewed Sen. Amy Klobuchar, one of Minnesota’s three uncommitted Democratic superdelegates and found she appears to be leaning toward Sen. Barack Obama.
“Barack’s impressive showing in our state is attractive to me,” said Senator Amy Klobuchar, Democrat of Minnesota, where Mr. Obama beat Mrs. Clinton two to one in the popular vote last month. “If somehow 200 superdelegates decide this, it will be problematic.”
If Klobuchar moves Obama’s way, she will join the eight other Minnesota superdelegates who have announced support for the Illinois senator: Reps. Jim Oberstar, Keith Ellison, Tim Walz, Betty McCollum and Democratic National Committee members Mee Moua, Ken Foxworth, Brian Melendez and Donna Cassutt.
Clinton still has the support of three Minnesota superdelegates: former Vice President Walter Mondale and DNC members Jackie Stevenson and Rick Stafford. Besides Klobuchar, two other Minnesota superdelegates remain uncommitted: DNC member Nancy Larson and Rep. Collin Peterson.

Pin the tail on the voter, Amy! By this time any intelligent caucus voter must feel like the kid standing at the rim of the party who lost his/her party hat while Amy with more than enough press coverage is standing blind-folded trying to decide where to pin the tail on the donkey that will generate the most applause.
“Obama, Obama, Obama” I yell but I can’t find my party hat and I’ve now got ice cream drooling down my chin and by this time who hears my voice anyway?
Uncommitted Super Delegates could possibly be turning this waiting into a celeb game, party of one, and who gets the most press?
