The latest Rassmussen Report on Minnesota was released today. The results of the telephone survey of 500 Minnesotans showed both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton leading John McCain by slim margins.

Barack Obama 47%
John McCain  43%

Hillary Clinton  47%
John McCain  46%

The tightening of the presidential election has resulted in Rasmussen’s shifting Minnesota from Likely Democratic to Leans Democratic, according to the Rasmussen Balance of Power Calculator.

Among Minnesota voters, 39 percent said the economy ranks as the top issue, and 20 percent said the war in Iraq was most important.
