Tide turning back against Clinton?

Some tea leaves to sort through on a Friday afternoon:

  • Former Clinton cabinet member Bill Richardson endorsed Obama. (But remember that Clinton got a consequential endorsement the other day from Pennsylvania Senator and Iraq War critic John Murtha.)
  • The Clinton campaign ended the month of February in the red, reports the NYT’s The Caucus blog.
  • Ex-WashPosters Jim Vanden Hei and Mike Allen wrote at The Politico that it’s a “myth” that Hillary can win the nomination
  • and Josh Marshall says that posting a link to the Politico piece elicited none of the hate mail he expected: “I wonder whether the collapse of the revote negotiations, the revelation that the campaign is  in debt and the Richardson endorsement together are collectively forcing a moment of realization.”
