wow, lyn, that was one of the most racist and hateful comments i have ever read. and, by the way, good job capitalizing “White” and not “Black.” just another way to make yourself feel better, eh?

i agree that it’s possible that abstinence education should be taught as PART of a curriculum, but overall, it should not be the entirety. the “sex education” i received, as a 2006 high school graduate, was abstinence-only. and you know, not only was it a simple blaming of “hippies” for STIs, but when i finally did end up having sex for the first time, i had no idea what to do. and that, to me is a damn shame and a disgrace to the educational system. personally, i’m ecstatic to see that the funding for such a poor program is being pulled. i agree with aaron, good riddance!

Another foolish Obama move. It is part of a broader agenda Obama wants to push. Sex ed will change to sexuality ed. Abstinence should be a part of education, but it won’t be. Instead the amoral Obama’s program will include indoctrinating kids on the love of diversity including unquestioning acceptance of gays, bisexuals, tran-whatevers, etc.

Hopefully Obama’s initiatives will provide more funding for abortions for black females. And for White females pregnant with black kids. If that had only been available in the early 1960’s then we wouldn’t have this Obama problem we have today.

Excellent! I’m glad he’s doing something about these ridiculous abstinence programs. Even if they weren’t blatant attempts to force minority religious views down everyone’s throats, they’ve been shown time and again to be utterly ineffective. Good bye, and good riddance!
