There are are a limited set of outcomes, not thinking that through and knowing how you will respond, is either stupid or dishonest regardless he lost my future consideration. Another hack is what he has proven to be. I am the Governor of the State, if the State Judicial system renders a decision I am going to act as Governor for the people of Minnesota. If the candidate pushes this to the Supreme Court that is there right but I am going to act as the leader of the State. Pawlenty is dodging about a matter of public interest, while Edwards was asked about a purely personal matter. If Pawlenty wants to leave open the question of whether he would sign the election certificate, this should be a controversy, but if Edwards doesn't want to discuss her marriage, she shouldn't have to.
