The little girl featured in stock footage used in Hillary Clinton’s “3.a.m. girl” commercial has a spot of her own — for Barack Obama. She deconstructs Clinton’s ad — the blue tinting of eight-year-old footage she figured might be used in a cough syrup ad, the announcer’s “scratchy voice” — and then tells of her volunteer work as a precinct captain for Obama’s campaign in Washington State, long before Clinton’s ad came out. “I reject the politics of fear that Sen. Clinton uses to drum up votes,” she says, concluding, “I’m Casey Knowles and I approve this message. Not the other one.”
