Campaign video: Hillary to solve mortgage crisis… at 3 a.m.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign just released a new ad with an old theme. “It’s 3 a.m.,” an announcer ominously declares, and a crisis is looming, one that John McCain (not Barack Obama) isn’t best suited to handle — “home foreclosures mounting, markets teetering.” As Josh Marshall points out, the last “3 a.m.” ad was roundly criticized, to the point that one of the actors came out for Obama and against Clinton’s “politics of fear.” But in a media conference call on Wednesday Clinton said she wants viewers in Pennsylvania to remember the previous ad. The Clinton camp says they’ll be outspent by Obama by a 2-to-1 margin on media in the state.

perhaps she is showing her fiscal responsibility by reusing footage to cut down on production costs?
