Par’s pad is back on the market

Brian Lambert breaks news that ousted Star Tribune publisher Par Ridder is trying to unload the Lake of the Isles home he purchased last spring. Former home to Paul Magers, the extravagant mansion (see its golf simulator above) is priced at just shy of $3 million — around $200,000 more than he paid for it. Who knows where Ridder’s off to next, but Lambert has a suggestion: “[T]here are several dozen fixer-upper ramblers in Richfield currently available at depressed, once-in-a-lifetime prices.”
