obama-wall-artPresident Obama saw a figure carved in stone Thursday at the Tomb of Qar at Giza, Egypt that looked familiar. “Hey, that looks like me!” he exclaimed. Were the swarm of announced and prospective candidates for governor to make a group campaign stop at the Jeffers Petroglyphs in Comfrey, Minn., they might say the same thing on seeing this crowd of jumbled figures carved into a rock: “Hey, that looks like us!”

Gov. Pawlenty, who announced on Tuesday that he won’t run for re-election, might not have the same luck as Obama were he to tag along with the busload of pols now striving to succeed him.

By the looks of things at Jeffers, the mullet hadn’t been invented yet.
