Following yesterday’s release of an American Research Group poll showing Hillary Clinton with a 20-point lead over Barack Obama in Pennsylvania (previous item), there are two new sets of survey data this morning. The Quinnipiac poll shows Clinton holding a 50-44 edge that’s well within the margins of trend lines established before last week’s brouhaha about Obama’s remarks regarding working Americans — though, as the Quinnipiac press release notes, it represents a “stall” in what had been a steady narrowing of the spread by the Obama campaign.

Meanwhile, a new poll released this morning by SurveyUSA/NBC comports more closely with yesterday’s surprising ARG numbers: Clinton 54, Obama 40.
