While Gov. Tim Pawlenty acknowledged on Friday that Republican candidates have been getting their “tails kicked” in elections, he didn’t take kindly to Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak’s statement on the Fox Business Network on Friday that if Pawlenty were to run for president in 2012 he would “get his butt kicked by Barack Obama.” On the same network this morning, Pawlenty said, ”As to Mayor Rybak, since it is early in the week we want to be Minnesota nice. I think he was trash-talking there a little bit and we will let it go at that.”

Timmy versus Obama would be on Pay-Per-View as a novelty act.
You can start with Timmy looking dumb as post when answering questions. Take a look at any question he is asked that doesn’t fall in the “Yes or No” category. You can watch the wheels in head grind as he tries to triangulate and answer vague enough to not piss off any one faction and still dog-whistle the religious whack-jobs and right-wing kooks. His idea of inspiring is a reference to his truck driving daddy as if that had anything to do with his sucking up to the wealthy and ignoring the “lower classes.”
The fact is he would make a good 2012 Republican candidate because he could keep that bunch of cannibals confused as to who he really is and what he plans on doing. He could unite the Palin no-nothings with the Romney corporatists.
