Just to clarify, Pawlenty will not get my vote because I know all he cares about is what his national republicans want. I think the party should be ruled from the bottom up by real conservatives that don’t pander to special interests or start wars that cost fortunes and lives.

Pawlenty believes in extraordinary executive power…his unallotment fits nicely inline with the thinking of Cheney and the Unitary executive.

He has appointed incompetent people like Carol Molnau at MNDot and industry cornies like Sheryl Corrigan at MPCA.

He may be younger, more comfortable in front of a mic than W., but he would be just as GOP-retrograde a Prez as Bush II was.

Yikes.

Some younger republicans believe in real real small government, ditching the military industrial complex along with destructive resource grabs in far away lands, and bringing back respect to the constitution. Something the old guys don’t seem to get, but they will soon.
