Obama`s administration should froun at gay marriage if he really has regard for God.I don`t even know why same sex should have a sexual feeling for one a nother.This is outrageous.People who have been endulging in this act should have a re-think before God`s wrath would visit them.
Obama should accord God some respect.

Equality is a radical concept. DOJ is wrong to support the ban on same sex marriage. Obama should be ashamed of himself for this nonsense.

The DOJ brief was quickly followed by the signing of the Domestic Benefits and Obligations Act that President Obama signed into law yesterday. Perhaps, an attempt to make nice after news of the brief broke. Though it is not nearly enough the act does recognize certain rights for the same-sex spouses of federal employees. It does appear that it is very rare for DoJ to not file in suppoort of laws passed by Congress.

But there is substantive commentary on several law blogs that say that the Obama DoJ went far beyond what is called for in defending this suit. The motion to dismiss only needed to establish that the plaintiffs lacked standing.

In stead they threw everything they had at the case, and have now emboldened marriage equality opponents with all sorts of arguments that previously looked like wirght wing nuttery, but now have the DoJ’s stamp of approval.

If this is how he advocates for us, I’m feeling a fierce urgency to tell Obama to just shut up about gay rights.
