The Supreme Court lost a lot of legitimacy in my opinion when they intervened in the Florida election.

At least in Iran the SUPREME leader has ordered a partial re-count. In Bush V Gore elections, the SUPREME court stopped the recount. Iranians are at least protesting the results and even dying in the process. Here in America, the results were shoved down our throats, and Bush led this dear country into the gutter. Funny we claim they are not democratic but we are.

Thanks for the comment, Ryan. I probably should have more clearly labeled this post (and the earlier one on the same theme) as "weirdly familiar recount stuff coming out of Iran" rather than as any kind of straight-up comparison.

I’m sorry, but I think you’re making a mistake by even comparing the US recounts to anything that’s going on in Iran.

I think this is a half-cocked comparison and shouldn’t be embellished any further.

If you were to attempt to compare Iran to anything the US has experienced, you’d have to go back as far as the Civil War.
