“[T]o the corporate media, a casual threat to incinerate millions of innocent people doesn’t have nearly the importance of a lapel-pin,” writes John Eskrow at The Huffington Post, but the issue he’s talking about did get some mainstream attention this weekend: The Boston Globe blasted Hillary Clinton for saying on April 22 that she’d “totally obliterate” Iran if they attacked Israel. Excerpted at E&P, the paper’s editorial concluded: “A presidential candidate who lightly commits to obliterating Iran — and, presumably, all the children, parents, and grandparents in Iran — should not be answering the White House phone at any time of day or night.”

So seldom is heard a discouraging word on Hillary’s words from hell… I’ve been waiting to hear a volume of critical responses from our astute mainline media; more than a wee paragraph on those most damaging words indicting Hillary of doublespeak…Hillary’s mandate for war, after promising peace and out of Iraq  as a campaign hallmark? Now she wants to re- deploy our used and abused military again, to “obliterate” Iran? If she said “We will bury you” it could not have been more damaging. Yes mam, Bully is the B in “obliterate”.

It is the “Roving Eye” of Pepe Escobar at Asia Times online who speaks as a powerful wordsmith and  goes where  Western media rarely dares or cares to tred…peruse his latest “Hillary , the war chick”, April 26, 2008.

And as to those flag lapel pins…make them out of gold and every other patriot so pinned/labeled will be selling them for profit, you betcha!
