I am in another state and district, also hoping that a more progressive candidate mounts a challenge to our Representative, and because he's been so weak on health care reform.

It's a disgrace how Democrats are selling us out on this issue. Let's fire these folks who aren't doing their job for the American people!

Having seen the rest of the filings, I think the Republicans endorsed Kolstad because he was the only sane person not running as a DFLer and they wanted to endorse SOMEbody.

Seriously, there's far more reason to be angry at her about the 2008 DFL senate campaign than some obscure, ineffective, non-starter resolution. The house health reform plan has an individual mandate AND a public option. This will force private plans to start competing with public efficiencies.

So I don't know what ti problem over some small resolution is. I think any disapproval over her has more to do with the senate contest. I know my parents didn't put up her lawn sign OR VOTE for her over her poorly thought out comments and maneuvering.

Amuseinc: It wasn't so much her being a Coleman tool as a Ciresi tool But that turned out to be a distinction without a difference in the end, as her actions probably cost Franken around three to five percentage points and an easy victory. (The irony? She was chorusing in, per Ciresi's orders, on the Coleman/RPM "Eeeek! Franken wrote for PLAYBOY!" bit of hissy kabuki, yet she has no problems taking money from EMILY's List -- which was founded by Christie Hefner and still funded with her daddy Hugh's Playboy money.)

The Representative also ended up a Republican tool last year. She was a fool in her take on Al Franken. It was seemingly written in a secret meeting between her and Norm Coleman. I hope somebody in the DFL party teaches her something about party loyalty because she sure has forgotten that part of being a DFLer.

There's a reason she moved the part in her hair to "center-right".
