Teen Challenge doesn’t just discriminate religiously, but through ethinc discriminatory practices. If you’re Black…don’t even bother to call there unless you’re strung out on drugs. They’ll be happy to serve you then.

Well Claudia, It is a Chemical Dependency Program, if your NOT strung out on drugs, why would you call ?...and they DO NOT discriminate !!!..Brother Earl is a long standing teacher who is African American and Pastor Terri is a 10+ year Executive Director and is an African American..I have many black peers in Teen Challenge..Don't talk about something you don't know anything about....

@Rick: If “Reverend” holder were any kind of a pastor, he would not be forcing issues of this kind.

And if "Reverend" (???) Holder were the Attorney General of the United States, which he is, he'd be ensuring that no particular religious dogma is supported at taxpayer expense, as per the constitution.

Pastors and government officials have different jobs. That's why they have different titles.

Teen Challenge (Minnesota Chapter or wherever) as a faith based, Christian organization is exempt under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and may prefer Christian applicants over non-Christian applicants for job positions.

If "Reverend" holder were any kind of a pastor, he would not be forcing issues of this kind. Teen Challenge has a track record that can not be matched by any secular drug treatment program. Teen Challenge centers have a success rate of close to 90 percent.

Teen Challenge is a privately-held organization. Each chapter generally operates under the auspices of the Assemblies of God denomination.
