Foreclosure of the week: Reduced $158,500!
Thursday, May 01, 2008 at 10:42 am

This three-bedroom 1,900-sq.-ft. home in the Bryant area of South Minneapolis is listed at $76,500. In November 2006, the owners paid an eye-popping $235,000 for it, according to Hennepin County Records. Of course, the estimated market value only two months after the sale in 2006 was only $150,000, a bit of further proof that prices were as inflated as the egos of the quick-sell brokers. Now owned by Chase Home Finance in Columbus, Ohio, this one-story home comes with a finished basement and the lovely feature of a bright orange “foreclosed” sign on its front door.

Not Kingfield Molly, I think this house is in the Bryant neighborhood – across 35W from Kingfield. It might even be on the highway frontage, which makes the inflation even more amazing.
Not that we don’t have foreclosures, but this isn’t one of them.

You’re right It’s not Kingfield, it’s Bryant. The MLS has it listed as Powderhorn, which is also incorrect. I will change. Thanks, David!
