this stunt would have best been ignored. This is the hippest it gets around here? Mpls honors the life of Michael Jackson by tolling its city hall bells? How dang exciting. How about something more real, like a crowd spontaneously amassing and dancing with fury and abandon all night long, to blaring 1980s boomboxes, on the stone arch bridge?

If you’re gonna do a tribute, pick something GOOD, like “Billie Jean.” A city hall tribute to a dead pop star is dumb already, but these dumb songs make it worse.
