Joyce, Sanford is guilty of dereliction of duty for abandoning his executive responsibilities to the state of SC. It's not just the sex. If he had turned over the reins of government to the lieutenant governor because he needed a vacation, that would have been fine. It's also the hypocrisy. Sanford and many other Republicans (think Newt Gingrich, for example) have used family values as a club to attack Democrats. Apparently you think it is unfair to point out what people have actually said.

Mark Sanford made a bad decision with the affair, but who are we to criticize when we don't know what goes on in his home behind closed doors. I'm just saying, we don't have the right to judge him. He has to resolve his problem with his wife and his family in his own way. I don't think he should step down from Governor either, and he feels he can finish out the position and do a good job. Did John Kennedy have to give up his position as president, and he had affair after affair, and one with Marilyn Monroe......Noooo....he didn't have to. Did Bill Clinton have to give up his presidency after he was playing arouond with Monica Lewinsky.....nooooo....he didn't have to. Look at John Edwards, etc, etc. I'm just saying........leave him alone. He has to make amends with his own family. Yes, politicians are held to a higher standards, but if these politicians in the past didn't have to step down, the why would Sanford. Higher standards is for both parties. It's because the Democrats live by a double standard. They can do what they want......and don't criticize them.........but let a Republican do something, and watch out.

The USA has been torn apart in the attempt to build the class-ridden, theocratic polity necessary to support empire. Secular liberal government died in the swamps of Vietnam and the massive inflation that followed. The conservatism of Saint Reagan and that godly leader, George W. Bush died in the deserts of Iraq and the economic meltdown of last September.

What"s next? I suspect whoever rules us can only be some authoritarian hypocrite, beholden to big money.

Before or After this event occurred, Huckabee is still way out in the lead to become the 45th President of the United States of America in 2012.

A gigantic grass roots organization of Huckabee Fans from 50 States that span 337 counties in America constantly keeps growing. Huckabee Fans from the North, South, East and West. Thousands of fans from coast to coast are rallying around Mike Huckabee for President 2012.

 >>> http://www.freewebs.com/huckapedia

Mike Huckabee is on his way to repeat another gigantic landslide Presidential win against a sitting President like Ronald Reagan did in his 1980 comeback win.

The similiarites between Ronald Reagan and Mike Huckabee are phenomenal. Both are the world's best communicators. Both were strong Governor's of their home state. Both are Radio and TV celebrities. Both are for limited Government with Supply side and Fair Tax reform. Both are Pro-Life conservatives. Both came into an recession economy.....etc, etc, etc..

No hill is too high for a Huckabee Fan to climb. Onward Huckabee Fans!!!
