It's time for everybody to come together and support Coleman for governor and Pawlenty for president. With Amy and Al, and Norm and Tim, all working together, Minnesota has the opportunity to become the power center of the US. I hope everybody throws their differences aside and supports the Project for the New Minnesota Millennium. The PNMM Doctrine will live for a 1000 years if everybody comes together and takes advantage of this great moment for Minnesota.

Norm Coleman needs to go back to New York and finish his corrupted lifestyle there. The people of Minnesota have spoken and I'm afraid that Norm will never serve in public office in Minnesota again! He can never be trusted to do the RIGHT thing. He made his bed and now his children will have to suffer the disgrace of his unethical behaviors for the rest of their lives. They are the ones I feel sorry for.

Pretty sure Franken played Strom Thurmond in that sketch. Thurmond was a den a long time ago, then a "Dixiecrat," but by the time of the Thomas hearings he was a republican.

Franken's comments or lack there of did not play any role in the post-election recount, election contest trial, or supreme court hearing.

And i strongly doubt that people who didn't like Franken enough to vote for him are at all are now influenced more favorably toward him, based on his conduct post-election. It will take much more than that.

I wish I could believe that having a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate would actually result in some positive policy changes. Sadly, I am guessing that it will be more of the same: more war in Afghanistan, continued occupation of Iraq, widening war in Pakistan, no single-payer health coverage, no massive conversation to green energy. The real problem was that Democrats have no guts and belong to the same monied interests as the Republicans. Franken or Coleman in the Senate, we are still going to hell in a handbasket.
