Former CIA bin Laden unit chief says all the major prez candidates misrepresent the “war on terror”

Michael Scheuer, who headed up the CIA’s bin Laden desk under Bill Clinton and, for a time, George W. Bush — and has written three books on bin Laden and al Qaeda — appeared on Fox the other day to assess John McCain’s claim that Barack Obama doesn’t understand how to take the fight to the terrorists.

Scheuer’s verdict? Neither Obama, McCain, nor Clinton has been honest about bin Laden’s motives.
