What the Republicans, just do not seem to get, is that this country is becoming a diverse and multi-racial, their attempt to inject a racial element into these hearings, will only backfire. white italians from the northeast, are an endangered species, and, if the republican party thinks it makes sense to pander to them, it only means that it will be many years wandering in the political wilderness for them.

Isn’t it interesting how recently celebrities are stepping out of their boxes and into the political jungle?! First Arnold Schwarzenegger, then Al Franken, Kal Penn, and now David Crone?! There is an interesting piece at newsy.com that takes a look at the two newest political careers from Hollywood.

Since the Republicans are bringing in the plaintiffs from the Ricci case, they must be planning the play up the aggrieved white man angle as much as possible. The supreme court just reversed in a moment decades of precedents, and an appeals court is obliged to follow those precedents, but conservatives will conveniently ignore that to get the racial result their ideology calls for.
