Must-read: Clinton campaign insiders talk about what went wrong

This year’s Democratic nomination fight is bound to produce a number of books and to figure prominently in political memoirs, but those will be a while in coming. In the meantime, Michelle Cottle of the New Republic has captured the best first draft of this checkered history that we’re likely to see. Cottle spoke to a dozen anonymous Clinton campaign workers, from the top of the food chain on down to the lower rungs, and the oral history she published late last week is a veritable catalog of the prevailing insights and accusations.
