In this age of Hiv aids, who will adopt all those Hiv babies or the babies born because of a one time mistake???? Remember when you take women's rights away concerning pregnancy or health issues, you take a man's too. It took two to make a pregnancy and usually two decide what to do about it. So, you guys, think about that when you want to deprive women of their family planning. You are part of it , right? Are all you guys ready to adopt all those babies that will be born????????Hey guys, Get out your diaper bags, you might be wearing them to the office.

For those who are screaming the health care bill is socialized medicine. If this is the case, it STARTED with the Vetran's Medical program where 3 years in the military gets you FREE medical care for the rest of your life, a FREE bed in a VA nursing home, and a free place to bury you when you die. Guess which GOP President started these SOCIALIZED PROGRAMS programs?

As far as abortion, I've asked this question of Priest, TV Ministers and baptsit denominational leaders and they NEVER give me an answer...perhaps some of Michele Bachman's christian supports can. My wife and I are ONE in the sight of GOD and MAN. If I commit a crime my WIFE IS NOT accountable for my crime...according to MAN'S LAW and GOD'S LAW. However, Per MAN'S LAW, we are responsible for each others DEBTS. If GOD doesn't hold my wife accountable for my SINS, or me hers sins for breaking HIS LAW'S or MAN'S LAW...why is it, according to the chrisitain right and GOP, I AM accountable and responsible for those who choose to have an abortion or perform an abortion? If I am accountable for the abortion acts of OTHERS, then I am accountable for the DRUNK DRIVE who killed an innocent family of 5 on I 65 last fall...or the others hundreds of thousands injured as a result of alcohol realted accidents, domestic VIOLANCE and broken familes...all a result of alcohol. According to the US DEPT of Education 599,000 alcohol related insodents (some reporting deaths) were reported ON US college campuses in 2008.

It isn't GOD's will to LEGISLATE AWAY SIN...othewise how do you know who is a TRUE christian...otherwise we are not better than the Middle East Religious nations. Abortion is a wedge socail issues used by the GOP to keep wicked men in power with the votes of blind sheep christians and so-called christiains, who do not understand the TRUE will of God...blindly accepting what they preachers say...

As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated on April 22, describing the stance of the Obama administration, "We happen to think that family planning is an important part of women's health—and reproductive health includes access to abortion."

She was speaking to the House Foreign Affairs Committee and answering questions about the administration's support for international family planning. Why on earth would we have a domestic policy that does not support women's reproductive health?

I have mixed feelings on this issue. To throw all reproductive health care out the window or to act like abortion is the same thing as reproductive health care makes me sad. Abortion is one small component - one I happen to morally object to but which I believe will probably remain legal in this country forever. I do not believe, however, that it should be publicly funded unless it is medically necessary, just like most procedures that are typically elective. They won't cover my tummy tuck! (a little stretched out after two nearly 10 pound babies!)
I am also disappointed in the pro-life democrats that they think a bill to lower the number of abortions isn't pro-life enough! What? Its what irritates me with the organized pro-life, they don't actually want the number of abortions to go down, because they'd have less of an issue!
Lastly, Artie really needs to read or do something other than watch Fox News! AIDS is not a gay disease. It can effect ANY one of us! It has higher rates of infection amongst the poor and the uneducated, because they are less likely to have the means or the knowledge to protect themselves. Rates are also much higher in places where women do not have sexual freedom to be able to say no or to insist upon fidelity from their husbands or to ask their husbands to wear a condom! (i.e. parts of Africa). Therefore, if we don't want to pay for really expensive drugs maybe we should negotiate better prices and have more regulations on pharma companies, not tell sick and dying people that we won't treat them!!!

Its obvious who keeps dumbasses like bachmann in after you read arties comment. I am sick of this homophobic and misogynistic and racist comments come from people that wrap themselves up in the flag and carry a bible. They are not patriots and the are not christians, they are nothing but hate-mongers and should be treated as such. I feel sorry for you Artie, you are a small minded and hateful person and it must be a miserable existence. With all the information available I am surprised at people's willful ignorance. Artie and the other "christian" right wingers need to either rid themselves of their hatred or leave this country and make their lily white Shangri-La somewhere else. They can have uphold the sanctity of marriage with there heroes like Ensign and Sanford and keep homosexuality in the closet and bathrooms under the leadership of Craig. How can anyone take these people serious anymore.
