Minnesota Monitor heads to Denver

Minnesota Monitor, already named as a state-based blog for the Democratic National Convention, will also be part of the event’s general blogger pool. Organizers announced Thursday that an unprecedented number of blogs have been credentialed, including fellow Center for Independent Media sites in Colorado, Iowa and Washington, D.C. MinMon political reporter Paul Demko will cover the proceedings.
The approved-blogger list offers a diverse array, from high-profile progressive sites like TPM, FireDogLake and AMERICAblog to topical and less well-known blogs (BeliefNet, Towleroad, The Center for Emerging Media, Vivir Latino). A frequent MinMon partner also made the cut: Citizen videoblogging outfit The UpTake will be covering the Democrats’ nominating convention.
