It’s over — or it’s not over — until it’s over?

The end of the primaries are finally upon us, and it will all be over soon… unless it’s not. For the next eight hours, it’s nothing but waiting for the polls to close and watching the superdelegates trickle in. In the meantime, keep yourself amused with a glance around the blogosphere.
Continued: Click “Read more”A look to the future:
Obama will declare victory on Tuesday, as is his right; then he’ll need to work his tail off to knit his party together. Obama has run a campaign based on uniting disparate forces. He’ll get his first test by trying to unite his party. He won’t pull in the people who are opposed to voting for an “inadequate black male,” but he has it within his power to secure the votes of Clinton supporters who question his ability to represent them. How well he does in this task will likely determine whether he wins in November.
Or a thorough look at the past, and a very unsettling thought:
The Democratic primary race will finally be over. Or, I should say, the primaries themselves will be over. At long last, everyone will have voted, unless (Democratic) life is discovered on Mars in the next few days.
Ahem.
The possibility of Martian primaries aside, though, it looks like Wednesday morning is going to be decisive for Barack Obama, no matter who wins the remaining two primaries the night before in Montana and South Dakota. And even though it has seemed like an endless campaign so far (mostly because it has been), we will wake up Wednesday only halfway through the election.
Then there’s a little song, and a little dance, and most definitely a little seltzer down the pants.
On the conservative side, Power Line declares “6″ the number of the day and Minnesota conservatives are raving about “thanking Hillary.”
But in the end, do we really see a light at the end of the tunnel, or is it just a ploy?
I guess we’ll all know in a few hours.
