Pawlenty off to Washington, D.C.

It’s highly appropriate that Gov. Pawlenty is spending Wednesday in Washington, D.C., chairing a task force on the Strategic Management of Human Capital. Pawlenty is increasingly seen as an ambitious jet-setter, getting his suitcase stickered at strategic locales from Aspen to Afghanistan, where he manages to make the most politically expeditious use of his own human capital. All in the service of, say, running for president in 2012.
The task force includes Carol Johnson, a former superintendent of Minneapolis Public Schools who now holds that position in Boston. One of Pawlenty’s three vice chairs is Sir Michael Barber, a partner at the consulting company McKinsey & Company, a firm whose organizational philosophy has strongly influenced reform efforts of both Minneapolis city government and the city’s public schools.

McKinsey and Co …. weren’t they major advisors to Enron prior to it’s collapse?
At least Mr. Pawlenty is building his national and international credibility before running, in contrast to the most recent VP candidate from the Republican party, who is doing after running.
Maybe he’ll learn to moderate his quite conservative ways as he sees more of the world

Yes … but you can be sure McKinsey would not misspell a simple word like “its,” as you did.

Don’t be too sure of that. MS Word’s spell checker likes to stick that apostrophe into its, so lots and lots of corporate communications contain that little error.
I bet trolling blog and other comments provides hours and hours of spelling police fun, ehh?
On to the topic of little Timmy. Where’d he find someone named Sir Michael Barber wondering around Minnesota? How many Sirs do we have here in our great state? Is this a real Sir, or one of those mail order Sirs?

Does anyone know if Palenty is staying at the C Street house in DC? The “Family” or “Foundation”? This is the house of cults with Ensign, Sanford, all the holier than thou crowd. Do we know what Palenty has been up to while out of the state? While overseas? The Foundation on C Street pays for these Governors to travel the world spreading THEIR (not ours) but their gospel of what appears to be a shadow government of religious power and entitlements. Does anyone know what lengths Palenty will go to in hopes of becoming the next POTUS?
