The RNC got $50 million in taxpayer money specifically for security. And they can't find enough cops for $50 million to police a fucking four-day party? They're calling out the National Guard? For what? To suppress even more speech and rights to assemble? Where'd all the money go? Maybe Norm can investigate it during his lame-duck period after the election. I don't get it. The Saint Paul city council was busy finding accomodations for the visiting anarchists and making sure they could be within spitting distance from the delegates…they can't be expected to do everything!

Meanwhile, the SPPD has been very busy producing radio ads to force the mayor to come up with a better offer than the measly 3.5% pay increases they've been offered…$90k doesn't go as far as it used to, you know!

I guess if the RNC wanted security, they should have brought their own!
