Upspeak didn’t say there was a Right to do this, he hadn’t condoned it at all, in fact. AND as for cars, or taggin on cars… Well it doesn’t happen, and you’d better be happy Graffiti writers(“taggers”, so you can keep up) have SOME SORT of integrity within their hobby, or cars and houses(of people such as yrself sooner than other I’d spuhspect)but houses and Cars would be completely Tagged up and Painted. Etched into. Graffiti writers(that’s taggers again tj)are stupid like that. But they are not dumb my friend, noseery siree serry, Sir-y>?? WHATEVER No not dumb at all is what I’m saying. They certainly got your attention didn’t they Teeej? RIGHT? I’m sayn yo…um btw the DFL?!?!?!?!?wtf!!!??? all Graffiti no Politricks involved.
and lastly All Hail The Grain Belt Sign!!! Minneapolis Icon for Decades!!! YAAAAY!! John, Mr. Sir Hartman- I can imagine you are from Mpls, although I’d bet against it.

Upspeak's right. If you have something to say, and not a lot of money you have the right to put your spray can message anywhere you want.

I've got a lot to say myself, and I'd like to spread my rad message as far as possible....so, where do you usually park your car Upspeak?

Well it's not just some mindless scrawl , it has a message that causes engagement in the political process at some level . Was it done legally?, probably not, but someone wanted to be heard and this is an effective way to reach a lot of people for not a lot of money.

To bestow “iconic” status on the Grain Belt brewery sign is a bit much, don't you think. First of all, drinking Grain Belt is akin to making love to your woman on the beach. F…kin near water. Secondly, iconography is typically bestowed on those objects, persons and sites that actually have made a major contribution to the world. All Grain Belt beer did was contribute to thousands of hangovers and any number of DIU arrests. So PLEASE…tamp down the overblown rhetoric.

Maybe, for it's next work, the DFL will commission a reworking of the state capital with blue spray paint. Now, that would really impress the visiting protesters, wouldn't it?
