That's why compromise is impossible. They think they need total failure to pass any kind of reform bill. Even a bad bill is bad for Republicans, as they've defined victory and defeat. So if Democrats can pass even a bad bill, in a political sense they win. If they pass nothing, the next election will be hellacious. Tort Reform - be specific as to the cost to be saved 2. Better Medicare reimbursement - How 70% reimbursement cause 30% to passed on to those with insurance 3. Deregulate Medical Insurance so a citizen can buy anywhere, not just the state they live in 4. Cover pre-existing conditions with a government back pool 5. Require portability .. job to job Conservatives can win with this plan and once and for all get health care off the table so we can focus on ridding ourselves of other statist plans The conservatives must get in form of people at town halls with:
