call the gov's office. I talked to this rude thing named Cara who said that he is always on the state's business. I asked her specifically about all the cost of overtime, power, security, etc for Al Hunt to interview him a few weeks ago in the State Office; how will we be reimbursed? She was very condescending.

Palenty is traveling around the country on MN dime and is he bidding business for this state or is he gaining personal "gains" for his presidential bids? Must we recall him or file ethics on him? I feel he is using his official office now for personal gain, just as Palin did! See where that got her! We need to act here in Mn rather than allow Palenty the use of our tax dollars to promote his personal desires! Recall Palenty for lack of confidence, abusing his position for personal gain and abusing the allotment process!

I heard Howard Dean say Republican opposition is politics, not ideology. That's why compromise is impossible. They think they need total failure to pass any kind of reform bill. Even a bad bill is bad for Republicans, as they've defined victory and defeat. So if Democrats can pass even a bad bill, in a political sense they win. If they pass nothing, the next election will be hellacious. For those of us saying public option or nothing, remember we're negotiating with people who would be OK with nothing.

The conservatives must get in form of people at town halls with:

1. Tort Reform - be specific as to the cost to be saved
2. Better Medicare reimbursement - How 70% reimbursement cause 30% to passed on to those with insurance
3. Deregulate Medical Insurance so a citizen can buy anywhere, not just the state they live in
4. Cover pre-existing conditions with a government back pool
5. Require portability .. job to job

Conservatives can win with this plan and once and for all get health care off the table so we can focus on ridding ourselves of other statist plans
