when people try to contact betty Mc Collum, she or her staff members do not reply. They ignore the public.
On the other hand, Carlos Mariani should go.

If Betty is the representative of the 4th district then everyone’s opinion needs to be heard otherwise is she really representing us all or just her supporters?

These people had no right to try to bust up this meeting. They were there simply to cause trouble and should have been arrested.

This is the United States and the Democrats won last November. Give it up Republi-thugs. Your tactics will not be tollerated any more.

And I don’t blame Betty one bit for not attending. Who needs to go sit through abuse like that? She is far better off for avoiding the trouble makers.

We cannot claim to be “the greatest nation”, if individuals are only concerned about their own. Not supplying everyone with adequate food and\or healthcare, because you have may have these things is selfish and un-american.

This nation’s independence was fought against the “haves” who refused to give up any personal wealth for the greater good of others.

As someone who has served this country in U.S. military for well over a decade, I’m tired and disappointed at my fellow citizens’ “I’ve got mine” attitude.

I suspect that the “protestors” were legitimate … but also pretty much all part of the Republican party campaign machinery. These are not neutrals, they’re part of the organized political opposition.

Love the first amendment, because it allows the truth to out more often than restricted expression.

But “learning” that Republican candidates, staffers, volunteers are against what ever Democrats like Rep McCollum are up to … that’s really not newsworthy. And not particularly interesting, since the Democrats control Congress, and Repblicans keep insisting on partisan sniping rather than bipartisan cooperation. So ignore them, their candidates, their made-for-news-cycle faux protests
