Pi Press exclusive: Norm Coleman’s former press secretary supports McCain!

Unfortunately that wasn’t the headline that the Pioneer Press used for its Sunday story about John McCain’s success in bringing young Minnesotans to his presidential campaign. But the main person featured in the piece is Andy Brehm, identified as a 27-year-old "emailaholic" and recent law-school graduate. What the story fails to point out is that Brehm — while he may well be "as tech savvy as they come" — is not some random boob that reporter Megan Boldt discovered rooting through tomatoes at Cub Foods. He’s Sen. Norm Coleman’s former press secretary. In other words, someone who made his living peddling Republican talking points to reporters. That would seem like a salient fact for readers to know.

Perhaps Demko should disclose his left-wing rag is funded by left-wing hack George Soros.

Andy Brehm has also been the Republican talking head on Almanac numerous times and did a stint under Ari Fletcher in the White House. Far from the random young person off the street in Minnesota.
