Ms. Bachman’s Christianity and sadly a great many others christianity does include Matthew 25: However in their xianity it reads something like

“For I was hungry, and you let me starve. I was thirsty, and you told me to get a job and buy my own goddamned water. I was a stranger, and you built an electric fence to kill me.
I was naked, and you arrested me for lewdness. I was sick, and you cheered my death. I was in prison, and you executed me.” alot of the right wing conservative Christians applaud that rewritten teaching of Christ… Right. Saying you’re a Christian, and acting like one are two entirely different things, as most of the GOP proves.

I wish the so-called REAL christians would stop with the no-true-scotsman fallacy and get out there and decry these repugnicans for what they are, for every REAL christian who has responded here appalled at the actions of Mrs Bachmann, Mrs Palin or any other of these lunatics, go to your church talk to your pastor, get him to tell his entire congregation how these people are false – if they really are false – I doubt very much you will get anything but ridicule for being a left wing nazi socialist commie sympathiser….eyeroll… thats how screwed up religion is

With all due respect to Ms. Bachmann, if I’m going to pray and fast, I’ll do it for a positive reason, something like “Lord, please help people get the health care they need”. If Ms. Bachmann doesn’t like the health care reform act (ie. ACA), that’s fine but let her file the Bachmann Health Care Plan and demonstrate how it is better at providing American’s with health care.. better than the ACA. I’d love to see it but I won’t hold my breath waiting for it.
