Minnesota fails to make list of top battleground states

The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza has updated his list of states most likely to switch party allegiance in the 2008 presidential election. Despite recent poll numbers showing John McCain pulling within the margin of error, Minnesota doesn’t make the cut. Of the top ten states deemed most likely to switch parties, seven were carried by President Bush in 2004. Most likely to swing to Barack Obama’s side: Iowa, which Bush carried with 50 percent of the vote four years ago. Cillizza also mentions that he believes Mitt Romney remains the favorite to be McCain’s VP pick.

Didn’t this same clown cite Minnesota’s status as a “battleground” as a reason for putting Pawlenty high on the Veepstakes?
Typical big media – has it both ways and assumes we’re too stupid to call him. Let’s not pay attention to him in the first place since he thinks we are morons.
