Congratulations to Kim Cope. It was a beautifully crafted piece of work. I also loved Laura Melnick's piece. I want to thank you both for using the public forum of the state fair to get these points across. Much like Sarah Palin, Bachmann uses her beauty queen looks and smooth syrupy voice to spew the most vile and divisive political-speak while wrapping herself up in the cloak of the prosperity brand of Christianity. The only difference is that Bachmann appears to be better educated and perhaps better funded. So thank you Ms.Cope & Ms. Melnick---Your pieces were the highlight of the state fair for me!

It's not the seed art that embodies "apoplectic hate," but rather Ms. Bachmann's wacky pronouncements. She does put a bit of tarnish on "Minnesota nice," doesn't she! Someone make her a casserole, quick.

The seed art is hardly "apoplectic hate". But of course we all know how those on the extreme right hate to be the object of satire.

Minor detail - but the artist who did "Michele's Precious Moments" is Laura Melnick (not Mclnick) - great work y'all!

Yes, truly a lovely sight to see "Minnesota nice" on display... brimming with apoplectic hate and vitriol. Nice work kids. Bet you drive your cars lacking courtesy too. Now go stand in the corner until you figure out how to play nice with the other kids.

To be pictured in seeds is far better than any way I have imagine Congresswoman Bachmann to be memorialized. Seed Art is an excellent metaphor for Michelle Bachmann's rather unique blending of faith-based insanity with garden-variety dishonesty. This is precisely how her seedy public statements deserve to be remembered.
