Coleman not on list of most endangered senators

Politico and Real Clear Politics have posted a new analysis looking at the ten U.S. Senate seats most likely to switch parties this year. Missing from the list: Sen. Norm Coleman. The Republican legislator has long been one of the Democrat’s top targets owing to lackluster approval ratings and a poor climate for the GOP in the state. But the most recent Quinnipiac University poll showed Coleman with a 15-point lead over DFL challenger Al Franken. The Politico/RCP list contains just one Democratic senator, Louisiana’s Mary Landrieu.
