Bachmann seeks blood ‘covenant’ to defeat health reform
Monday, August 31, 2009 at 9:48 pm
Rep. Michele Bachmann, in a fiery speech at a fundraiser for the Colorado-based Independence Institute, got downright biblical in her imagery today. Saying Democratic health care reforms “have the strength to destroy this country forever,” she roused her Denver audience, declaring:
“This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn’t pass.”
A week ago today Bachmann told listeners on a “teletownhall” that the health care “battle will be won — on our knees in prayer and fasting.”
Update: Read the Colorado Independent’s full report on Bachmann’s Denver speech.

Glad to see Michele ‘Ms Crazy Eyes’ Bachmann still hasn’t changed. Wonder what will have her hide in the bushes in DC. Just how does someone that is clearly this psychotic earn the ability to represent anyone other than the ‘voices in her head’

No kidding? “slit our wrists?”
That easily qualifies for “histrionic” in my Bachmann lexicon, adding to the prior descriptive labels “conspiracy theorist,” “catastrophizer,” and “serial exaggerator.”

Pioneer Press editorial writer and columnist Jim Ragsdale, in a notable March 4 column, crowned Michele Bachmann “The Empress of Exaggeration.”

Michele, about slitting your wrist. You really don’t want to do that. At least before you do, ask yourself, “what would a sane person do?” One the marks a sanity: a distinct lack of wrist-slitting.

It starts with the wrist slitting; it ends in a murder-suicide pact. Looney is as looney does.

Hey Michele, if you DO slit your wrists, remember:
“Down the road, not across the street”

Ms. Bachmann,
Remember that, when slitting your wrist, you want to slit down from the base of the hand, to the forearm, and through the artory. .

A new day … A new Bachmann soundbyte.
Another new (at least to me) is her claim that she was elected in “Franken country” … that’s newsworthy since she has never acknowledged that Franken was actually elected as opposed to being declared the winner in a stolen election.
In reality, Franken did not win in her district … he got about 36% of the vote as Republican Norm Coleman easily won the District as well as McCain soundly defeated Obama.

why is it, that everybody wants to attack Bachmann on her choice of wording, but nobody wanted to attack Obama for his wording during the election and even now! Why is that? is it because she is a republican that is against this Health Care bill and anything Obama wants to force down our throats! Enough is Enough I stand by bachmann even though she is not in my state! I stand by any Congressman and Women who is against this corruption that is taking place in the White house as well as Congress! and another thing, I can look past wording and see the other meaning to what someone is saying, why can’t you? or are you just so frustrated that you couldn’t get this much support from your congressmen and women during Bushes term! or the fact that the tea parties are bigger! I laugh at you!

Nope, not just her wording. The meaning behind “her wording” is just as kooky as it sounds.
As long as she, her fans, and her party are for corporate profits from screwing insurance customers, she stands FOR corruption.
Show us where MB is supporting her constituents.
