Why, Blackwater, of course! Private security, THAT'S the answer! It's been staring us in the face all along! Worked for New Orleans, didn't it? And isn't that Erik just a Prince of a guy? Met him once in Cabo, nicest fella you'd ever wanna meet. Got a great bunch a guys working for him, cream of the crop, former military, full body armor, these guys I'm tellin ya are the finest, the hippies'll take one look and, bam, you're talking Active Denial System–bring me another one of these, honey, will you?–and the price, we'll get them talking about it, better than these cop union slackers . . .

There are several west metro cities (Mound, Orono, Wayzata come to mind) that have city council approval to sign JPAs that aren't on the list the police department provided.

Say, does anybody have George W Bush's old list of the countries in the Coalition of the Willing? Maybe the SPPD could use that list for the convention as well. American Samoa, anyone? I imagine that they have a few officers who could help out in September.
