Bachmann to host second health care town hall

Rep. Michele Bachmann will host her second town hall on health care reform this Saturday in St. Cloud, according to a Tuesday afternoon email to supporters. The event will be held from 8:30 to 10 am at the Tech High School gymnasium at 233 12th Avenue S in St. Cloud.
From the email:
Given the tremendous response from people at my recent town hall on health care reform – as well as subsequent public meetings where people were just itching to talk about health care reform – I’ve scheduled another town hall meeting for this Saturday, September 12th in St. Cloud. I hope you can join me for a discussion about this very important issue.
Bachmann’s last town hall in late August was attended by an overflow crowd of participants generally supportive of Bachmann’s anti-health care reform stance. Here’s Minnesota Independent video of that event:

The cost of health care is rising faster than the incomes of hard-working Minnesotans and that is just unsustainable. That is why I have been hearing from so many southern Minnesotans who want to make sure that health insurance reform is done right. This August, I held a series of discussions in homes and businesses across southern Minnesota, as well as at my Rochester and Mankato offices to hear directly from southern Minnesotans about our health insurance system.
Because I want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate in this important debate, I would like to invite you to take part in a town hall meeting I will be holding next Saturday. This is an open admission event; so no tickets are required.
